But before the company STWD looked like it looks now and dealt with how it deals with now passed many years. Years of practice have made the company the experienced and competent one in the furniture industry.

First steps in the industry ...
 ... took place in 1987, when Roman Bilecki decided from day to day to set up his own company. The company started to manufacture turned elements and furniture accessories and furniture such as small newspaper containers, hangers, flower stands, tables, etc., and day by day was approaching to achieve the success.


The decade of cooperation ...
 ... with Bydgoskie Fabryki Mebli SA began in 1990. STWD produced for BFM furniture components and finished products such as front elements (frames, doors, drawer fronts), top-plates, baseboards, pilasters and occasional tables. In the years 1990-2000 the company acquired the experience, achieves high quality results and efficiency, allowing for further development of the company.

 Appreciation the company ...
 ... by the foreign contractors has has lead to producing furniture for such countries as Germany, France, Denmark, England, Ireland and Lithuania and starting in 2005, online store BEDS.pl. The company grow into strong producer and supplier and planned further development.

The real breakthrough ...
 ... for the company was the year 2010, in which it extended the scope of its activities to other European markets. The purchase of the global domain: www.beds.eu let to began work on the setting up the English-Czech-Slovak-Hungarian- version of the online store. In the same year the company was able to get an EU grant for the project: Implementation of new products and the construction of modern storage facilities with a part adapted to an innovative exhibition presenting the offer through webcams.

 ... this means the piece of furniture, which is the bed in: Polish, English, Slovak and Czech, Hungarian and Lithuanian. Because in 2010, the company bought the national domain: BEDS.sk, BEDS.cz, BEDS.hu and BEDS.lt, non-Polish customers can purchase furniture offered by the company, without worrying about the language barrier and the possible lack of understanding.

Year 2011 ...
 ... was a time when a project supported under the European Union and the Country budget has been completed. With webcams, anyone who has access to the Internet, can almost see our products live. In addition, the offer was completed with furniture made of solid oak, what was the excellent addition to the traditional collection of beech furniture.

In addition to managing director, Roman Bilecki, there works his wife, Maria Bilecka, who is director of economics. Director of Marketing and Sales in the company is Thomas Bilecki, son of the founder, and the kingdom of Thomas's wife, Agata Bilecka, is a company product exposition. The second son of family Bielicki, Jakub, supplies the ranks of production workers.
